The Peace that Surpasses All Understanding
This painting is a different version of my painting Beautiful and Mighty that was done with a coffee medium. I love this vision that God gave me when I prayed for women who have been trafficked especially younger women who had experienced sexual abuse of all kinds. The symbol of the Lion in this painting symbolizes the strength of our mighty God and Father. The girl is in a calm and comfortable position to show that in His presence we are made secure and we can find rest. She is made pure and dressed in white because of the blood of Jesus Christ who cleanses us from all sin. This picture gives me such peace when I come to God’s presence and to know that He already has an answer to my prayer regarding this horrific problem.
