The Spirit and the Bride 2

 

This painting is a portrait of the Bride of Christ, which is represented by those who are reborn in spirit with Him. This is to remind us who we are and what we are shaping for. We are His bride (as a metaphor) to be joined to Him in eternity. We are to fuel our lamp to shine brighter until the bridegroom comes.

Revelation 19:7 Amplified Bible: "Let us rejoice and shout for joy! Let us give Him glory and honor, for the marriage of the Lamb has come [at last] and His bride (the redeemed) has prepared herself."
