Journey Within

 

This coffee and mixed media painting is the sequel to “The Father’s Heart”. The little girl has grown spiritual maturity in her relationship with her Father (Symbolic of Heavenly Father). He walks with her and talks with her along the way. As she shines brightly and is showered with gold in different levels of refinement. The obstructions in her past are fading as she only looks forward. The Journey Within is an invitation to our Lord Jesus Christ to come in and allow Him to walk with us in our healing journey. His Spirit is Holy and He is the great wonderful counselor ( Isaiah 9:6) that is willing to heal us in all aspects of our being. 

2 Corinthians 4:6-7 Amplified Bible For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give us the Light of the knowledge of the glory and majesty of God [clearly revealed] in the face of Christ. But we have this precious treasure [the good news about salvation] in [unworthy] earthen vessels [of human frailty] so that the grandeur and surpassing greatness of the power will be [shown to be] from God [His sufficiency] and not from ourselves.
